This FAQ is designed to address common questions Group Leaders might have regarding managing and overseeing their team's engagement with Statcom Training's online emergency response training platform.
A Group Leader's primary role is to facilitate access to the training platform for their team members, encourage timely completion of training modules, and ensure effective engagement with the training content.
Group Leaders can add new members directly through the Group Management section of their dashboard. You can add users individually by entering their email addresses, which sends them an invitation to join, or in bulk by uploading a CSV file with multiple email addresses.
Customisation of training materials is handled centrally by Statcom Training to ensure consistency and adherence to standards. However, Group Leaders can provide feedback and suggest enhancements or customisations through their organisation’s Training Coordinator who will communicate these needs to Statcom.
You can monitor the progress of each group member through the Group Management dashboard on the Statcom Training platform. This tool provides insights into each member's progress and completion rates, helping Group Leaders identify anyone who might need additional support.
It is recommended to engage directly with any member who is falling behind to understand their challenges and provide targeted support. Options include scheduling time for training during less busy periods or offering additional resources to assist with their learning.
Training content should be reviewed annually or after significant updates to emergency procedures or policies. This ensures all team members are up-to-date with the latest practices and prepared for any emergencies.
For technical support or requests for additional resources, Group Leaders should contact their organisation's Training Coordinator. This coordinator acts as the liaison between your group and Statcom Training, ensuring that any technical issues or requests for additional training materials are communicated effectively and resolved efficiently. This approach helps streamline support processes and ensures that training progresses smoothly within the organisation.
